The Clackamas has all kinds of water on it you can fish about any way you would like. There is no one way that seems better accept to keep hooks in the water at all times. From the sounds of it there will be alot of people out on the river that day and it should be alot of trash talking going on  But it's all in good and loving fun  Good luck and have a great time

Wernergonefishin,
Which stretch of river are you planning on fishing? If you fish the Barton to Carver stretch, there is some really good water for any type of fishing you would like. There is good plugging or diver& bait water, as well as some good water for drift fishing,or bobber & jigs. Good Luck & see you at Busters!!
