Whats up with this?/new question

went fishing today on the carbon river.. did a little drift fishing.. some how i snagged two 6" trout!.. and i cant seem to get a hook anywhere near a steelhead whats up with that!?


and just so you know i am not a snagger..and i dont try to snag..

YEAH GO ME.. got a 4 day weekend.. gonna hit the carbon hard tomorrow 1/18/01.. oh hmm you know what i just figured.. @! ive been writing 01 on all my school papers for the last 3 weeks.. my bad..

Prime, it's now the 17 and time to think about a change. The word is, Blue Creek at the Barrier
Dam. A friend hit it and had hookups all day. Major difference may be combat fishing.
I bet you had on eggs and the trout were taking them a little at a time and you felt them as they turned away. I us that one all the time.

Hey prime I hope you get that first steelhead. Tell us if you get one.I got a day off monday if you are down in my neck of the woods we might see that first steelhead lol fishon might go but I dont know yet. Well good luck to you evil.

no steelhead today. but i did catch 12 white fish, 1 dolly (12-14") and a large trout of some sorts..

My question is.. if i am catching that many other fish in a certain spot... should i move on.. or do steelhead hang out in the same kind of water as the other fish i caught?
