Anyone been fishing on these rivers this week. May go on Saturday and been watching for info. I can't believe that no one has been there. Don't have a chance to get to the Clackamas so thought my son and I might try one of these. Would appreciate some info. Thanks.

The Kilchis is low and clear.
Bill got one on Sunday, that was the last we have seen.
I have been fishing, trying low water techs, but nada for this girl.

I assume when you mention the No. Fork, you are refering to the N.F. Nehalem If not, nevermind. We fished the N.F. Nehalem last weekend. My wife fishes the disabled platform and I fish down below the deadline. She landed one on Saturday and three on Sunday. Some of the bucks are starting to show some color but not bad. I would worry about the water level this weekend. Seems like we have had the best luck between 36" and 42". It can be tough when it is low and clear. Read Hustler Jim's post on fishing low clear water. He is all over it.

Fished the Kilchis from the county park down last Sunday. Saw a few fish and a bunch of wankers floating over the top of them "looking for fish" and scaring 'em into not biting.

Had two rods down on plugs, no bobbers down and got one just above the pipeline hole. It was a clipped hen about 8#. Talked to some guys below the logging bridge and every boat had hooked at least one. Saw one other fish caught just above the take out.
