Open spot in my boat tomorrow

I am thinking about fishing around Meldrum Bar tomorrow morning and all my friends have to work.

I am fairly new to Ifish so I thought I would ask if anyone would like to lend their fishing knowledge if I offer the boat. It isnt a sled but it has rod holders and seats (wife wouldnt let me get a sled so I had to get a "family" boat). I dont have a kicker so back-bouncing isnt an option so I either troll or anchor (usually anchor and relax).

Post a reply if interested. I plan on launching around 8am and getting back whenever the fish are gone. :rolleyes:

Hi MP.

Unfortunately I don't have the time to fish tomorrow, I have no idea what the current river conditions are, and I don't know if very many fish are being caught there.

But I do know this - given your boat and fishing options, I would anchor just below the mouth of the clackamas if I was you (in the "boil"). I would fish a pink or orange X4 flatfish off a spreader or three way swivel with a 24" drop line and a 48" leader.

I've spent my fair share of time fishing that area, and that's what I would do. Good luck!

I am going to relax and read (and try and fix the friggen X85) and if I catch a fish, well, that is just icing on the cake.
