Cheapest Place to Buy Borax?

Where do you get the good finely- milled borax in large quantities at a fair price? The fishing stores (Guide Shop etc) want big bucks! The borax in the grocery stores is cheaper but a coarser grade. I have been told that wholesale buyers can get a whole pallet for less than $30. What what about the average guy (or gal)? Help please. Drifter.

I've always gone with the 20-Mule-Team from the laundry aisle.

I guess you might try Van Waters & Rogers in NW Portland - wholesale laundry/dry cleaning chemicals.

I always direct people to hot-tub and pool supply or laundry supply companies. there are wearhouses all over the portland area and you can buy five, ten and twenty pound buckets of the stuff. I personally cant think of any store off hand but if you look in the phone book or maybe someone on the board knows. Hope this helps...good luck!
