I've been a long time reader, but new to logon. I am obsessed with fishing and its traditions, but my job keeps me from being on the water as much as I would like. (Sound familiar?) I prefer to flyfish for steelhead and trout, but I have no problem with other methods and techniques or the people that prefer to fish that way. I moved to Vancouver, WA, 14 years ago and wouldn't rather be anywhere else. The Sandy and the Kalama are my home waters, but love Tillamook Bay and the rivers that flow into it and I try to fish the North Umpqua at least once per year. Let me finish by saying thanks to Jennie and the rest of the crew that makes this web-site happen and to the rest of you who contribute to the discussion and to my growing wealth of knowledge. Hopefully, I will be able to make some meaningful contributions along the way.

Welcome in from the cold. Glad to have you here. I'm sure you'll be contributing. Everyone has a trick or two they can share.
