Well...took the boat to the Clack and fished today..One shrimp destroyed..but no fish in the boat. The water is really shaping up. Seemed to be clearing while I was there. When I "took out" at about 4:15 I'd say the visibility was about 1 to 1 1/2 feet. Water is green. This weekend it should fish just fine...figure it to be in the 13's range...with about 2-3 feet visibility. Hope this helps you all.
Had a nice conversation with "RAGS" from the board there at Riverside. First time I met him. Nice to meet another I-Fish'er.
Good luck everybody this weekend!!

Thanks fishinmission....I had asked earlier about the Clack...Spooled told me you would let us know. Sounds like you fished between Carver and Riverside, is that right?

Hey ******, I guess it's true what they say about the average size of a man's sand shrimp.

King13fisher...Yeah...I was between 205 and Coffee. Water is a little better "clarity" wise, and down to 13.7 now. No trip today tho.
Good luck tomorrow..haven't decided for sure if I'll be on the Clack tomorrow...it'll probably be busier than next Saturday with all the "test" rides, and joy riders.

Hey Mark, If you should be going by the blacktop area at Meldrum Bar and see a tall (6'4") skinny, bearded, good looking (takes after his father) guy that looks like me (I'm the better looking one) that would be fishing from the bank, yell at him and tell him to catch that fish, I'm hungry.
His name is Eric. He will be the last one to leave before dark.

Hi Mark. Fished with Gizmo and a friend today on the Clackamas. We hooked 3. Unfortunatly we only put one in the box. Tomorrow the water should be perfect. However I am sure there will be at least 50 to 60 sleds and drift boats on the river so the catching will problably be quite difficult. I think I will go fish for gators tomorrow.
Take care

STZII - Giz stopped by my house tonight on his way home and told me you are the one to blame for only getting one fish to the boat out of the 3.  You seemed to forget that in your report.
Something about the cat chewing on the leader and playing with the spin glow while the pole was rigged. Come on you can do better than that, go check out the "are you lieing thread", and confess while you are there.
And even if I bought the first excuse it doesnt work on the second fish you lost. You need to make up a new excuse the next time around, especially after you replaced the hook and spin glow in between fish 1 and 2 that got away
Giz said he performed flawlessly today, and he would have gotten all 3 fish left to his own talents. For some reason I have questions and few answers

BOE: you have a way of twisting everything I tell you... Next you will be trying to tell people you are really 6' tall...
Pete and I have fished a couple of times now and have had a great time and have even caught fish.
Pete knows the clack and he might be a threat at f 3.5 next weekend. The only problem is whether he will land the fish  ...Oh wait, he got the one on his rod, but managed to loose the fish on the other guys rods....
Pete thanks for a great day on the river....
Giz...
