Will the Kalama river be a good choice for a drift boat this weekend? I have a good freind coming in from Pendleton who I would like to get him into some fish since he usually just grows wheat and dosn't get many oppurtunities to catch fish. Any help would be great. I can travel as well to another river if that would be a better choice.
Thanks
Joe

Here's the number for Pritchard's down on the Kalama, but Sandra didn't hook me up with a business card for Kalama Bait & Tackle, otherwise, I'd tell you to call Sandra. She would give you an HONEST report about the flows AND the "catching" (not the fishing). The fishing is always good..lol

OK honest advice from the doc. Last weekend sucked. We threw the kitchen sink at em and no bites at all. Saw two fish jump, not hungry. Same story with fish and game reports at take out. Try somewhere else, maybe somewhere that doesn't get blown out easily with a squall. Doc.
