The Sandy River has been dropping an average of nearly 100cfs per hour for the last 36 hours. It's down to under 5000 cfs as of 2:00 AM and read 11.35 feet below Bull Run.In my opinion, the conditions should be absolutely perfect the next couple days. I hope all the fish haven't just pushed on through.

Hi Wiser?,

I just wish I could be out there fishing with you guys tomorrow...it should be ideal conditions. I'm enjoying your posts and pictures about how good the fishing is. Keep up the good work!

Just got back. River is good to go. A little high and dropping, nice color.

The two guys upstream from me limited out in about 2 hours.

As for me, whats black and white and rhymes with punk.

I'll make it up next trip.

Just got back from fishing above Dodge Park. Was a little high but visibility was decent. Pink rags and pink birdies worked great. Hooked seven, landed 5, including a gorgeous 12-lb. native buck.
The water should be perfect tommorrow and Saturday.

Darn, a few of the got through. Good job MikeT. I think there are plenty to go around. Today, I even snagged a steelhead drifting with corky and bait in the middle of a long run of six to eight foot deep water. I have never before snagged a steelhead under those conditions. Either pure luck/coincidence or the river is full of fish.
