I have heard some really good reports coming from there but have never fished it. I have always fished below the dam or in the longview area. Is it worth the drive up there now? Not much going on down here. Where would be a good place to put in? Any thoughts/pointers?

RIMSHOT ,I haven't been in a while ,to many steelhead on the coast. This time of year can be very good,no pressure. For you head east on 84 ,to the Rowena exit, the launch is right there ,and yes they fixed it.Head down stream about 2 miles to the mouth of the Klickatat river,Anchor just down stream from 30 to 50 ft. deep. For bait try pickeled squid ,sandshrimp, smelt, nightcrawlers and rollmop herring but it's a pain. You'll catch all sizes from shakers ,some keepers and hugh gators....scary! bring your boat heater.
