I was looking at some old fishing pictures from 95 and I was shocked to find that I was catching far I mean FAR more wild fish, I don't know how other rivers compare but I fish the humptulips and I am scared of the outcome of a few more years of this, I strongly feel something must be done to improve the wild salmon stocks. The population has dwindled way down in recent years, and its weird how many more hatchery fish there are now compared to the wild. I mean this year I might have caught 3-4 wild Coho and I mean, that's SAD for a month of fishing.. I guess I never really took the time to look at what's happening. I might have drank to much tonight but the wild fish from 95 even seen to look different? Has pollutants changed the fish???????
Hmm..

When you start looking at fish in a different way,and they look good, perhaps you have had to much to drink. I've heard the same comparison about women. ( No offense ladies but about men too). Could one of the reasons for your notes showing more hatcher fish be that we are required to release the natives since about 1995? When did the regulations change, forcing everyone to release the Nats.? You may not have to look any more if you know the answer to that.
