Just thought that since I am one of the few (if not the only) graduate of the University of Texas on ifish, it's my duty to warn all of you Husky fans out there that this Friday doesn't look good for the Pac-10 faithful in the Holiday Bowl. Major Applewhite gets his last start of his career, and it should be a good warm up for the Longhorns' national championship run next year! My prediction: 42-24 Horns!

I'm as hard on our green-headed "friends" to the south as anyone, but this is more than UO vs. CU, it's Pac-10 vs. Big 12 as well. If you heard what the Big 12 fans say about the Pac-10 being weak, being soft, no heart, blah blah blah, then you'd want the Ducks to lay an a$$ whipping of Biblical proportions on the Buffs, just like I do. Yea I knew someone would bring up that UT loss against the Ducks in the Holiday Bowl last year. If only our highly touted recruits would play like they are supposed to...

The Ducks can take the Buffs. They aren't that great. We should have beat them and be playing in the Rose bowl, but our QB was playing for the wrong team.

Anyway, I have to say the the Pac is back, but the Big 12 has been there for awhile. UT, CU, and Nebraska will make beleivers of you all...

Hey, it's easy to talk before the game. It's after the game that the real talking gets done. I heard the same crap from Texas fans last year about how they were going to mop up UO, and it didn't quite turn out that way. Guess that happens when Mack (I can't win a bowl game) Brown is your coach.

After USC's loss to Utah, the Pac-10 is needing some bowl wins........Go Dawgs, Go Ducks, Go Cardinal.

It's like this. It's pretty "Duck"-ish (Or Coug-ish)to wish ill fortune on them when they're playing an OOC opponent. It would just give the press a reason to keep ignoring the Pac-10......it could be UW getting ignored next time.

UO share in the NC?..........dream on. UM or NU wins the NC. If UM wins, they're undefeated. If NU wins, they defeated the mighty Canes and THEY deserve the NC. UO's loss to SU blew any chance they had. You'd better go unbeaten in the Pac if you want any shot at the NC.

The Husky's are such a young team and played their hearts out,I can't complain about their effort.
heck they hung 43 pts on the Best Defense in the country.
I have a hard time believing We lost to a Guy named..."Major" (he had a lot to prove)

The answer is yes. The DUCKS are that good. Also people better get used to it. We have all of our receivers and linebackers coming back next year. As far as a replacement for Joey, We only have Kellen Clemens who just happened to be one of the top 5 rated quarterbacks in the country coming out of high school. He redshirted this year. Also Onterrio Smith returns next year also.
