Anybody want to make a serious offer on a 1995 19ft. Alumaweld Formula Vee. Me and the wife have fallen on hard times and I need to get rid of the toy. This boat is fully equiped with UHF, fishfinder, Merc. 8.0 2 stroke kicker and a Merc. 125 hp prop. Full Alaska upgrade canvas top with side curtains and drop curtain in back. Aluminum diamond plate on bow and gunwales. Seats 8. two up front, two on each bench and one on each float box seat. Custom Alumaweld trailer with spare.

I hate to let her go, but I have to keep the roof over our heads. She's been a wonderful boat with few hours. Please don't make frivelous offers. I'm sick enough as it is. I'm gonna go cry now.

NO WAY! Damn. I've seen and been in this boat. If you are in the market, it's well worth looking at. Dang Paul.

Skipper,
This is really sad. Years ago I had to sale my driftboat to pay my taxes. How about everyone on this board making a donation to get you by so you don't have to sale your boat? What about it Ifish members??? How much do we need to raise until you get back on your feet Skipper?

Maybe that "donation" could go towards a guided trip? I'd be willin to put money in...except that I've got a baby due in a week and just got wrongfully terminated last Friday!

It's a sad deal Skip. I always said that the only reason I worked was so I could fish on the weekends. I just sold my NR because of the lack of the once steady paycheck so my fishing choices just got reduced. I guess it's time to find a new job. You'd think that after 6 years of working my tail off for somebody that they'd take care of me.

BTW, stay away from Brinsfields Boats. They'll try and nickel and dime every last penny out of you so that they keep their margine.

How about a donation to a guy who's never owned a jet sled before so he may buy this boat, that way, 2 people come out happy. The guided trip works for me too. I haven't been STS fishing since Veteran's Day.

Sorry to hear about it skip. It's a sign of the times that many are having to deal with that shouldn't have to deal with it.

Dave, the sad part is that I know people who can put a 1, or a 2, in front of that 6 and make the same statement. :depressed:

I appreciate the responses guys. I really appreciate the thoughts.

I could use help with a good place to list boats for sale besides the classified ads. I know there are restrictions on this discussion board about advertising and I do not want to violate them. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hey Ol' Tuna Skipper. The two happiest days in a boat guys life are the day he gets it and the day he gets rid of it.

If you need a little religion, give me a call. If I'm in town I try to get after it once a week or better. Just like on the 'Frog', you'll always have a seat on 'Pilar'.

Take care .........

The online sites are good for posting photo's and data, but if it is anything like the auto trader, you'll do better in the (gasp) Oregonian or similar paper that people actually read when looking for these things. I put my 94 Suburban in the Auto trader for the "good till sold" rate. It ran 6 weeks and I had no calls. I put it in the Oregonian for a week, got 3 calls immediately and sold it to the first one that looked at it. Not guaranteeing success, but it worked for me.

Why don't you post a photo here so we know what you are jetting around in? Lots of folks post photo's of their boats.

What would a toy like that set a guy back? Just a curiosity question.

Ol Tuna Skipper,
Boats come and go. You will own another one that is even nicer. Drop me a note whenever you want. I will make room for you on my boat. I am doing the perch thing now but Springer season is just around the corner. Keep the dogs off your back. Things will get better.
