That time of year is nearing and that time is Steelhead season. I love to fish for Salmon but Steelhead fishing is my passion. My dates fill up solid so its not to early get your dates even for February and March. These dates go especially fast as we are after those big broodstock fish of the Siletz and Wilson rivers.

With an already impressive amount of fish around this year should be great. So great that I am going to guarantee fish. If 2 or less fish are hooked I will give you another trip fee. I did this last year and only had to do one trip over, out of 4 months of fishing. Last year we averaged 8 hook-ups a day and had several upper teen days and one day with 21 fish landed.

I fish a little different than most. I use very light tackle, never anchor, no plug pulling and cover lots of miles of river. Its hands on action, you present the bait, you feel the bite and you set the hook. It is all you, I just put you where the fish are. Beginners pick this technique up quickly and seasoned veterans wonder why they havn't fished this way their whole life.

Get your December Janurary dates now, that will get you tuned up and I will guarntee you a hard to come by spot in February and March when the big boys show up.
