Just wanted to let everyone know that I am headed North to run my fishing camp on the Nushagak River. Which just happens to be the finest chinook fishing in the entire world. Thank you to the Ifishers that will be attending this years season and hope to have many of you up there next season.
This is one of my favorite times of year, yeah the fishing is great where it is not uncommon to hook and land over 50 chinook in one day, but just being up there. I have great help with Marty Peterson and Eric Camp and of course my dad. Some of the funner times are not even in a boat. We try to put on the best time we can. For those who are interested more than just chinook Marty can teach the finer points of the mid night Sockeye hatch.
While I am gone please leave messages for booking trips this August for Astoria and Tillamook this fall. My wife will be handling all the bookings.

Good luck with the rest of Springer season and I will see you in the fall

How can you loose

It is getting close to go time. Meaning its getting close to start catching steelhead. I love to catch Salmon but drifting the rivers for steelhead is my passion. My steelhead season books up solid especially February and March when I am chasing those big broodstock fish of the Siletz and Wilson rivers.

With a supprising amount of fish around arleady this steelhead season should be awesome. So awesome that I am going to go out on a limb and guarantee fish. If less than two fish are hooked on your trip I will give you another one free. I did this last year and only had to do one do over out of 4 months of fishing.

I fish a little different than most, with very light tackle, no anchoring and no plug pulling. It is all hands on action, you present your gear, you feel the bite and you set the hook. Its all you I just put you in the place to make it happen. I averaged 8 hookups a day last year and it should not be any different this year. Beginners pick the techniqe quick and seasoned veterans will wonder why they havn't fished this way their whole life.

You can't lose
