He everyone,
Sorry that I did not do a very good job of keeping my post active, no excuses just tired. I promise a better job this steelhead season. Hopefully I will be getting digital camera soon, so I can show some pictures this winter.
Ended my Fall fishing by fishing in the Rondezvous, what a blast. The combination of fishing and competition equals great fun. Which brings me to remind you that we also have a steelhead Rondezvous in March. This tends to be a smaller outing so spots will fill fast.
Speaking of steelhead, I got my first look at some just this morning. I live on Curl Rd. which crosses the Kilchis River. I stopped to look off the bridge to look at all the Chinnook and Chum and what did I see but three steelhead mingling with abut 50 salmon. It got the blood flowing and I raced home to grab a rod. The first cast I cought a chum and spooked the hole up. I will try again tonight, but am looking forward to that next good river raise to get those iron heads flowing
