A few generic questions regarding Walleye fishing in the lower Columbia and Willamette systems.

Generally speaking what months of the year are best for Walleye fishing, and what side of the tide is best?

Also, how does river flow and temperature affect the bite? Intuitively it would seem high flows and/or cold water would suppress the bite.

Thanks for any info.

Hello, I seem to do best from about the middle of June to the end of October. In the lower river I like fishing the outgoing tide. I sure like that picture of your dog. It looks alot like my miniture Aussie.

Thanks for the info Sharphook. Yes, she is an Aussie, not a mini, she is about 60 lbs. What wonderful dogs they are!

Thanks again.
