Another Freeway Lake big bass

A friend of mine called me today and said he took his bass boat out to Freeway Lake yesterday and picked up a 8.06lb.Sorry he didnt have pic but I know they are there

Small 3 lakes just south of Albany, I-5 passes over 2nd-3rd lake channel

I believe it. Last year a guy caught an 8+ out of there and landed an article in the newspaper. Sounds like a blast.

I have driven over it like a million times going to dorena and fern ridge. I have heard of some big bass coming out of there but not this late in the season???

i fished those lakes quite a bit when i went t college there... sad to say the only thing i ever caught was a dink crappie in the pouring rain. talked to a guy that said the best fishing is in the west lake and has to be fished from a boat cause of private property. never had a boat on the water there. looks good in areas though. will have to try again with boat this spring

Horrible fishery for numbers, i have fished it and caught very large bass before. We use to night fish it out of a boat, never caught very many but the ones that are in there are quality fish!
