Thank you all for the prayers for my dad. He had his last round of treatments two weekends ago, and it appears they got it all. Considering it was in his bones, liver, and lungs, we are very thankful.
Life is not always fair, though, and as we celebrate my dad's return to good health, we grieve for my husband's family as his uncle prepares for the end of his battle with cancer. Hospice is helping with his care, and it appears time is short.
As my husband said the other night, "I'm so mad at cancer. It's taken the lives of so many people I care about." Too many, too early. Prayers for peace and comfort are appreciated.
