I am thinking of my fall trip to silver this Wednesday. The weather has been bad for several days and I'm not sure the trip is worth it. I love fishing in the fall and this is the prime time I target. This could be my last shot for the year. I had a good early fall but was looking forward to hitting Silver for bass & crappie. This weather sucks. Hope you get a chance to get out again this year!

Ya i posted a similar thread. This really bad weather is making the fishing not worth getting soaked for no bites. I went out saturday to newburg for some smallies and the were really stubborn. Caught two off a reef with a 25 foot drop off. Mainly they were taking slow moving tubes and drop shot. Nothin on the rattle traps and spinnerbaits.

Silver cools off really fast in the fall. So how would you fish it this time of year?

My brother and I hit the Mouth of the John Day and the big CR yesterday. 1 fish just over 2 lbs. So went home and put the boat away for the season. Sad day for sure. But February is just around the corner.
