I have a 17 foot willie drift boat. I have room for 1-2 people. I was thinking about running up to estacada lake at mciver park to troll for steelhead. I have never done this before, but wanted to give it a try. I have a trolling motor on the boat which will work just fine for that lake. I really want to get in some practice before I head up to mcnary next week to attempt trolling there.
If not estacada lake, i am open to suggestions. I usually fish alone, so am looking for some company. I was also thinking about bank fishing a coastal river early in the morning. or even bringing the boat if i have somebody else to fish with out there.
