I'm waiting for family to say it's Ok to post names but as well as a legendary guide and great fisher, we lost a wonderful friend, today.
Please say a prayer for all friends and family.
I know that there is peace now but it is pretty quiet and sad around here, tonight.
Yet another friend gone from the river.

Sorry. Yes. Gary Hilton passed away Sunday night in his sleep.
He lost his battle with cancer.
Will miss him,he was a great guy !!!

I remember buying tickets for a driftboat raffle, to support garys struggle, from the guideshop. Rest is peace Gary, lookup a few of my friends to fish with in Heaven. :pray:

Gary was a great fisherman and fun to fish with. He had a long struggle with the illness. He will be remembered in our hearts and his family in our prayers.
I fished with a close friend of Mr. Hilton's on Sunday. He took a call that morning, and looked a little different after he hung up. Apparently, it was one of Gary's family calling to say that he had passed.
I never met him myself, but I could tell by the way that call affected Rusty, that Gary must have been a special friend and a great guy.
RIP Gary, you'll be missed by many................and that is the true measure of a man.
