My son Matt is having some terrible stomach problems, and pain.It has been going on for a few months now.The Drs. have been trying different things to no avail.
I went up to his house Friday so we could load up his elk to bring here and get it processed.
Matt pulled up behind me,he stepped out of his work truck and doubled over in pain. Then started throwing up.Ive seen this happen a few times lately.Matts one of the toughest people I know.He stops for nothing.I always try to tell him to just take it easy when hes suffering. But he toughs it out and goes full bore ahead.Drives me nuts!

Matts a cancer survivor. Many of you prayed for him when he was battling thyroid cancer. Then he had his gall bladder removed several months ago. They think his problems are related to the gall bladder removal.

They are finally sending him to a specialist in a couple weeks.

Ive been really worried about him.Hoping and praying that its just a matter of getting adjusted to not having a gall bladder. But I worry theres more to it than that.

Matts an amazing individual that really touches everybody he meets. His belief in God and his faith really keep him going.

I just want to ask all of you to please keep Matt in your prayers. That the Doctors find out whats going on with him.And that his pain will go away.

Thank you and God Bless all of you.

First off, thank you all so much for the prayers. They are a tremendous help.:flowered:

Now for the update.
Matt saw a specialist Monday. He said it went great and he was really happy with the Doctor.

The Doctor listened to what Matt had to say and then asked a few questions.Matt couldnt believe how well the Doctor was describing what is going on with him.

They are sure he has a problem with way too much stomach acid. But he also said that although its extremely rare.He thought that Matts bile ducts were reacting to something and when they did.It would cause them to tense up.And cause him the extreme stomach pain he is feeling. He gave Matt some medicine to take when the pain happens.Within 5 minutes he felt relief. The pain wasnt gone. But was much better.

He also gave Matt a note.Told him next time he is in the excruciating pain.Go in immediately and get a blood test.Give them the note so they know what is needed. The Doctor said that it would really help him in getting things figured out.

The next appointment is in 6 weeks. But it looks like progress is being made.Hopefully it will continue, and this can get taken care of.

Thanks again everybody. We really appreciate your thoughts and prayers.
