John Day Float/Steelhead

Anyone have experience floating JD from Cottonwood to Rock Creek? Can it be done in a day with fishing? Other good sections (I know most is private)?

That's a two day float this time of year. I have only fished a small portion of that water on a float with Marty from Little Creek Outfitters and we left the water half way through on private property. We also left a lot of good looking water behind.

Yea, that's what I thought. I grew up over in the Boardman area and know a few ranchers over there by the river....hopefully they might have some roads close?
