It's been awhile since I've been out for Salmon & Sturgeon (years)on the Columbia, also, Most of my fishing partners are not available when I am so I usually fish solo. I prefer to fish during the week but sometimes weekends too. Looking to find more fishing friends So I will have a open seat or 2 now and again . And I have always wanted to try Walleye and Tiger Muskie fishing . If anyone who knows the the waters and ins and outs of fishing for them please send me a PM and we can set up a time to go catching. I have a 20' Boulton sled with a full canvas fully rigged and ready. I don't smoke but don't mind people smoking outside the cabin and I am always up for a beer or 2 but don't get sloshed out on the water , I really enjoy fishing and our great outdoors.

I am in the same situation. I normally fish for salmon, some sturgeon when I have people new to fishing as there is more action.
I would love to learn the Walleye fisherey. Did not know anything about Tiger Muskie but am up for anything. Have you considered a guided trip to learn a bit about the fisheries? I have done that in the past and it has helped considerabley.
I have a 24 foot North River with prop, full canvas and fully rigged. I would love to exchange trips or?
I am pretty much retired and can go any time. May try a trip to the Coquille shortly.

I am in the same situation.Hello, I retired couple years ago, And live in Salem OR. I have a well-maintained 22 ft. in board jet boat. Looking for people who would like go fishing. Older and retired folk and parents could take the kids fishing. I would also be honored take homecoming troops fishing. People that don't have a boat. Smokers welcome. I have enough room for three to four people. (volunteer to pay for gas), I fish for trout, sturgeon. And fish for crab in Newport and Waldport bay. If you have your own fishing gear that would be fine, if not I have most of the fishing gear needed. I fish for trout at Detroit Green Peter and Foster Lake. I enjoy taking kids and their parents fishing. Or just a boat ride. The average stay out is about six hours. I am listed on www.ifish.net (http://www.ifish.net/) under open seats. If interested please call 503-930-9410 or e-mail frog1942@comcast.net (frog1942@comcast.net) thanks Dick

Can I join in too?... It's an Ifish "talk about fishing" night out at a conveniently located pub. What's not to like about "fish talk"? I'm in Long Beach and my schedule; every other weekend off when my wife tells me it's OK to go fish. (Teeheeehheeee)

Actually; when ya get serious about GOING FISHING let me in on the when, where and "all the particulars". I don't smoke or drink beer, (unless it's root beer) but I love to fish and would really like to catch whatever while I'm fishing. Walleye is one fish I'd like to learn more about fishing for. :excited: :)

Spoke with Jim (Hookemhi) and we agreed that we should reopen this discussion. Spring fishing is right around the corner and it would be good to get together and be somewhat organized about this. Bob 503.396.1040
