Does anyone want to go camping and fishing this weekend possibly? I have a drift boat with a 6hp motor and I'm looking to go any direction within 3-4 hours of PDX. I am fairly new on the sticks so nothing to technical. Looking to do salmon/steelhead on a coastal river, (Umpqua, D, coastal river?) Let me know if you are interested. I want to leave Friday night or Saturday morning. If you have eggs even better. If no one wants to camp, I will be interested in a day trip or two. If someone has an open seat (salmon/steel/or sturg), I would be open to that as well.

hey man, i am down here in keizer. i also have a driftboat, and have been looking for somebody to fish with to try to learn some techniques. i have just started fishing in the last 2 years now, so am trying to learn.

i have 4 kids and just got back from hunting, so a campout would not be possible, but a day trip would probably work out. what would you think about hitting the clack? or maybe the salmon? let me know if you might be interested, i would love to be able to learn some more.

Leave me a PM with your phone number and we will talk if know one gets back to me about camping. If you have a fiberglass drift boat I would be up for the Clack. Like JR said, the Clack is real low and I have an aluminum. I might be open for something else as well. Look forward to hearing from you,

I hear you on that JR69. I don't have a Clackacraft, so I fear every rock. haha. Last time I went down in my boat was in June and I said that would be the last time until we got some descent rain in the fall. Have one more week on that.

FYI: I hiked into Bonnie Lure park on the Clack and saw two drift boats floating the river.
