Great book! The author explains the Trinity and how each (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) operate. He explains things in very simple terms. I have to study some of the author's key points. I think it's more of a study than just a read.

I read it. It was an interesting read but I did feel like the author made up things about the afterlife that are not biblical. I guess as long as it's not taken seriously.

Great book. Not everyone likes it and that's ok with me, their loss.

I struggled through it, found it a challenge to read. But.... Thought it was a great book, really opens your eyes to the fact that God is not black and white, We develop theories and ideas as to what he is and it showed that it can be completely opposite of that. I enjoyed the book and will soon read it again. I passed on my copy to another person when I finished in hopes they would do the same. Interesting for sure but worth the time

I suggest that one might read the ancient book "On the Incarnation", especially the version that has the introduction written by C.S. Lewis (which is worth the read by itself, I have posted a link to it) to get a better perspective. Just a suggestion, bad theology just begets bad theology.
Well worth the read by itself:

We had to close a thread on this before, as this book discussion caused division on the chapel. It began a theory discussion that hurt feelings on both sides.
I'm not willing to go there, again.
I'm sorry, but I'm closing this thread.
Please remember that the chapel is here, not to discuss theory, but to pray and uphold one another. Please see the sticky thread, here. (http://www.ifish.net/board/showthread.php?t=96601)
