Lower river fished good last night, but was pretty dead today, Tuesday, they let out water and raised the river level/or that is my excuse?! Saw fish roll.
Beautiful day to be out swinging.

Yes, its going up, and soon even more. And just got a lot colder... Not good.

Yes, They have started turning off the canals here in CO and they pumped up the river again last night.

I took my DB for the first time from BT to HL and I thought it was little more gnarly in the class 3's than in the oar raft I usually take. I went on 10/9, 10 and 11. I wasn't sure if it the DB was handling a little different or it seemed the rapids had a little more white water then in July. Also really cool in the AM now. Tough getting those wet waders on.
