A buddy of mine was at McKiver park on the clackamas river this morning parked at the upper boat ramp fishing. He fished from around 9a to 11a and when he returned to his car, he found it broken into, and lost a Decho 6126, Galvan Rush reel, Loomis streamdance 5wt, galvan torque 5 reel, william joseph wading bag, & chest pack & blue Simms jacket. He is Bummed..........If you hear anything...send me a pm, It would be awsome to get this stuff back.

I have only fished McIver once this year because of these kind of reports... this is getting silly. Check the pawn shops and craigslist. That's where some of my stuff surfaced...

Good luck

I heard about this on WFF, and am keeping my eyes open.

What a tragedy with all that gear....I'll keep my eyes out for any of the items listed.

I was broken into on the Clack earlier this season. When I returned from a quick 1 hour session I noticed someone had strewn all the contents of my glove box all over the front seat and they had stolen a few bucks in change. Luckily I keep no valubles in my rig when fishing and I left my doors unlocked and the windows down like I normally do so the ******** won't smash anything. I don't leave any personal information in my vehichle either......that includes no vehicle registration, personal address info,etc....nothing.

I'd like to pull an undercover operation one of these days on those DBs.

There have been a lot of theft reports from there lately. Don't leave anything valuable in your vehicle if you go there (as the signs say).

Your friend's loss is a big score for the low-life that did it. It will help ensure the rash of car break-ins continues. Until the police mount a sting there, it will continue.

I cannot help but believe a sting operation there would be quickly successful.
