Life bing what it is at times, I have not been able to fish for a year. I landed this fish after hooking up on my fourth cast. I had a steelhead fly on at point and a dropper, one of Andy K's famous flies, for Coho, a full 24 inches from the first fly, as I was fishing for both. I was using a 5 foot leader off of a slow sink tip spey line. She took the bigger fly.

OMG! What an awesome story. I'm really glad you were able to get out and catch a fish like that. You undeniably deserved it. Congratulations. =)
