I know this may be a broad question as I love sandwiches in general. But What is your favorite home made sanni?
I would have to say that I love love love a grilled ham and swiss with a fried egg over easy mashed up over the top of the ham. Just had one for dinner, well it had the fixins of a BLT added in there too.

My current favorite is a salami on rye with bacon, chedder, lettuce, tomato, italian dressing, pickles, olives. Lightly grilled and served with a frosty cold adult beverage. :meme:
Not very healthy but it sure hits the spot after a day on the water.
Cheers,
Kyle

It's a toss-up. A BLT with pepper bacon and garden fresh tomatoes and lettuce or a grilled Swiss cheese and crab sandwich on home made bread. Damn. Now I'm hungry. MB.

SPAM, fried 'til just a little crispy, with Tillamook cheddar and Jif chunky peanut butter on toast. Lay the cheese slices on the frying SPAM just long enough to start them melting, then put on the sandwich while hot.
Nothing goes with cured meat like peanut butter. NOTHING.

Well umm... This always gets my mouth watering...
Couple cans of tuna... Lots of shredded cheese and diced onion.. And enough mayo... And then slap it on some white bread... Some toasted white bread... Some Ritz crackers... Or plain... If I have it plain... Then I add some pepper.
Jalapeno and cheese bagel... Cut in half... Slather onion and chive cream cheese on both slices... Throw a sliced pickle and your favorite cold cut... MMMMMMMMMM
Another good one is...
Take a green tortilla... Slather with occc and throw some tomato and pickle and some cold cut london broil or black forest ham and roll it up! Dub MMMMMMMMMMMM

Rye bread spread with cream cheese thin sliced sweet onion and cucumber topped with leftover grilled salmon or steelhead from the night before. A few capers, and a sprinkling of dried dill go nicely as well.

Okay, here's the deal. There are lots of great sandwiches out there, but nothing tops the prime rib sandwich I invented a couple of years ago.
trim and slice rare to med-rare prime rib leftovers.
Caramelize onions and mushrooms in a little oil/butter mixture - be patient and get 'em nice and brown.
Take a hoagie roll, slice down the center and broil until just toasted.
Remove bread from broiler and generously slather one half with extra hot horseradish, on the other, pile bleu cheese crumbles (or slices)
huck the prime rib bits into the onion-mushroom mixture just to heat through
Back into the broiler with the bread, until the cheese is melty & bubbly
Chuck the onion/mushroom/steak mixture into the roll and get ready for a party in your mouth.
(for those of you timid about the horseradish, heating it removes a lot of the heat and leaves a sweet flavor)
OMG, I'm hungry!

Fry pepper corn bacon that has been sliced into about 1/4 in chunks remove and drain.
Heat very quickly in the bacon grease sliced deli turkey remove and add with bacon.
Now fry suaerkraut in the same pan add the bacon & turkey back with kraut.
Place on toasted bread of your choice. We also slather on some mayo or 1000 isle dressing.
Very tasty!
