Cork is fresh, not a mark that I can see.
Just don't use it.

Is this the 6-10lb rated rod or the 8-12lb rated rod?

The Lamiglas factory website Says: Lamiglas Cert Pro x106 MLC-t is 6-10, the T has me puzzled though.
MLC: the L means light in most all Lamiglas nominclatures. I have the Cert Pro x106 MC & is 8 -12 # rated, and is one of the best rods I have ever owned by far.
