LOL:D

Is this an open ended thing or do you have a specific day in mind?

What I mean is, I don't have any plans to go there for at least a month, but should I keep you in mind if I do make another trip to the D this fall?

I will be looking to share a ride for the next couple of months. Daytrips or overnighters. From the mouth to Maupin. We may even drag my driftboat over. I will be there most of next week, send a pm for details.

Kevin,
Keep an eye on the weather on Mt. Hood.
I was on the lower river yesterday and today. The White River is spitting mud and the D was unfishable for the fly guys and really difficult for the hardware guys. Visibility last night was essentially zero; this morning it was a little better but still pretty bad.

I like murky water, fished all of it lately. The day after the mouth turned white on 8-23, I got 4 hatchery fish. Just had to change up tactics, I love a challenge. I am not a fan of clear water. That being said, the runoff makes the water cold, quickly. Steelhead dont like that. But after a day, or slight warming, they go crazy. We had jumpers like never before in the last couple of days.
