HI All,

I've seen on some boats that they have a bow protector made out of diamond plate, presumadly to keep the anchor from dinging up the front of the bow when you bring it up. I've seem them on some north river boats, and am intereseted in getting one for mine... anybody know of a place to get them, or how they are installed? The usually go down about a third of the way on the bow (toward the water line), and are diamond plate.

Thanks
JDS

Boat manuafacturers install them when they build boats. "Motion Marine" does top quality aftermarket aluminum work, including diamond plate, and other manufacturers may too.

Unless you just like the look of the diamond plate you can install one of my Anchor Lockers and your anchor will never touch your bow and you won't need the diamond plate.

I had a spray on bedliner (Rhino) sprayed on my bow to protect it from the anchor, rock chips while towing, etc. It appeared like a towing bra, but a bra cost 450.00 to have made and i had it done for 200.00. Looked great and served a purpose.:twocents:
