blown motor value.

hi everyone. thanks for tis forum 1st time for me. the no. six cylinder on my merc 1990 200 jet just blew.(in the middle of a hot bite in astoria) i replaced the old motor VERY EXPENSIVE. i was wondering about the value of the jet pump ,red,and the rest of the motor for parts to recoup at least some of the money. any suggestions on what to do would be greatly appreciated

Had the same thing happen to me on a 90hp. I had it rebuilt and sold it for $500 more than the cost of rebuild. Just a thought.
