What models/brands of jet sleds have narrow trailers in 16-18 ft? I'm primarily interested in thicker welded models of more common brands. If you have a trailer that is more narrow than your sled and post the width. That would be helpful.

I've noticed some trailers are wider than the boat, and some are reversed. I'm looking for one about 6 1/2 ft if possible. Yes, I could always retrofit a trailer as long the boat isn't too wide, but I'm looking for a starting point.

Most boats you want to fit between the wheels of the trailer so that it fits as low as possible to launch easier. However in my case I had to fit my boat inside a narraow single car garage. I went with an Alumaweld 18' Super Vee LT which allows me to fit through my 93" opening. I hope this helps.

I have an 18' Koffler on a King trailer. I was able to set it up (move the guide bars out and remount the hub caps about 1" in) so the trailer is exactly as wide as my gunnels 88" and still get to sit as low as possible on the trailer.

I have seen Outlaw/Eagle aluminum race jetboats on special trailers they make that will fit inside a covered car trailer. The trailers have tandom axles and snowmobile trailer tires. Pretty slick deal to conserve width. You might check out their website. They could probably make you a trailer to fit under whatever size boat you get.
