I have a older willie boat that needs new floors. The old floor is just worn out.My question is do I need to use marine grade plywood or not,and where can I get it.Does anyone know where to get the vinyl and glue to put on the plywood. Thanks for any help

Well if you can spring for the marine grade plywood I would use that however I used a little lower grade plywood (the name escapes me) and treated it with deck sealer to water proof it. Much cheaper and I haven't had a problem yet, key word being yet. I purchased my vinyl from Bentley's and the glue (latex based I believe) from Home Depot. Overall the job turned out great and I'm on year two without any peeling or rotting.
*Make sure the temp is within the range specified by the glue manufacturer to ensure adhesion. I tried to do my floor in late winter with highs in the upper 40's and ended up having to bring the whole project inside to dry (making a gas chamber in the extra bedroom).

Here is some interesting reading about replacing your deck. Just to add to your confusion. If you don't have a interesting story, just make one up. We don't know the differance.

I replaced the floor in my Predator. Used 5/8 cdx sanded on 1 side.Glass resined the bottom and sides.Got the vinyl and glue at Kelso auto and marine.
Turned out great. No exposed surfaces so I know it will last a long time.
