Has any body used this newer Sta-bil product...
bout $10.00 bones per jug and usage is 1oz to 5gal.
Wonder if you should use it with the regular Sta-bil...
Just seen it at Schucks over here in the right side of the state...
Never seen if before, the guy said it's new to his shelves.
The web site says the marine formula has more and better of everything.
Just A thought.
Carry On...:D
Use it in place of the regular Stabil. It's cheaper (per gallon treated) and better than the regular stuff. I add some to every tank because it only costs about $0.06 per gallon to add and I never know how busy I'm going to be at work. Sometimes I go through a 70 gallon tank in a week. Sometimes it takes 6 months.
I use it in my ATV's with no problem, but prefer Sea Foam for my marine applications.
SeaFoam hasn't changed in over 50 years. The red Stabil hasn't changed in about that long either.
I'm pretty sure the new green Stabil is going to be better for E10 gas and it's by far the cheapest per gallon of the three. There might be something better out there, but thus far it has kept my fuel fresh.

I started using it about a year ago, before that I was using the red stuff with every fill up. Haven't had any issues and it seems to have helped with a Carb problem I was having.:applause:

1 oz. per 5 gal is for storage. 1 oz. per 10 gal is for running the engine. Very cheap insurance when weighed against the cost of an engine.

I have had Carb issues this year with my boat, my lawnmower, and my weed eater. Stabil goes in all three now. No problems since.

So you are saying just use non ethenol gas. and you do not need to use
sta-bil. You are setting yourseft up for a big problem. Ask any small engine machanic about not using a gas treatment. and how much they
make from the guys that do not use any....Use it in all your engines.
Save yourself a lot of problems...

I think regular gas with out Ethanol is all right to use if you are going to use it up in a month or less, but if it is going to keep it longer than 30 days you need to use some kind of treatment in it. I think marine Sta-Bil is as good as any, and it is the cheapest.:twocents:

I've only used the red sta-bil, but after reading about the new green stuff, I may try it.
