I believe Sieglers is your closest choice. I have not taken mine to them yet, however based on the great help they were the day I thought I had some issues I will be taking mine to them at 200 hrs for sure.
The story on the phone call...... My oil light was blinking, called them, walked me through the process on how to reset my hour counter so the oil light was no blinking. No problem with the engine just hit 100 hrs of run time :passout:
I was calling to make an appointment to bring it in! They got my respect for not taking me for a ride!

Siglers,
Just had my 20 hour service on a 225 and a 9.9 bill ran $420
The thing I like is you have an appointment, bring the boat in that day and pull home that same day!
I drive past other shops were boats are in lets say line for service.

I heard something a couple of weeks ago that Sportcraft closed after their move. Something about it was forced bv the bank.

Sportcraft is open and does a great job. Personally, I wouldn't let Siglers look at my boat from across the parking lot.

Siglers did the repower on my Arima (to a 2009 Suzuki 90 hp), and did a pretty nice job of it... except for one of their tech's leaving the drain screw on my lower unit only finger tight. Fortunately, I didn't take it straight to the river for a sea trial. I had a nice puddle of gear oil in my drive way the next morning. The owner was very sheepish to say the least.
On the other hand, they have been great to deal with when buying parts and such. And they did the full repower work in 1 day, and everything was set up pretty much exactly as I asked. When I upgrade to a 4 stroke kicker, I'll probably give them repeat business.

I had my Tjet serviced by them a few times. Nothing but good things to say. The guy who serviced my boat actually gave me some suggestions in regards to servicing the motor myself.

I did the 100 hour myself, not much to it if I remember just change the oils and lube the fittings.

Another vote for Siglers. Bought my Thunderjet and Suzukis from them in 2005. They've done all of my service work along with a few extra installations. Top notch service all the way, over and above what I expected. I'm due for my 200 hour service now but I'd rather spend a day fishing.....but another month and they'll be seeing me again.
