Kicker Motor Transport

I have one of those "Joes" specials kicker drop brackets on my boat. I'm tired of removing the kicker every time I travel to and from the water. It beats up my motor and wear and tear etc. Can I beef it up or anything else short of removing it? I'm not too keen on any more hole in the rear of my boat.

If you have an aluminum boat try putting a strap around it pulling up tight to the transom to take the jiggle out of it ...:twocents:
