Of course there's chart use but also my Orange Crush, Blood Red and Oregon Duck
I had a blue one that was also a great fish attractor but a shark decided it wanted it more than me and promptly bit it off during an ocean trip in July.

As usual, there are tons of anchovies in the Columbia estuary and off shore. And several times we've found full size sardines stuffed into ocean silvers.
I used to try and match the hatch by chopping up some anchovies and adding them to my herring brine. This still isn't a bad idea but these sticky liquids work great too.
