I first of all want to say THANK YOU to all those who prayed on behalf of my dad. In March, the doctors found his cancer had returned to his bones, lungs and liver. He was given 5 months to live, if he didn't pursue treatment. Although he said he never would go thru chemo again, he went ahead with it.
Well, his latest CAT scan results came back yesterday, and he is nearly cancer-free. One or two more treatments, and it should be all gone, even the large tumor that was on his liver. God is so good, and we are so thankful for whatever extra time we can have with him. Time for my children to remember him. Time for one more duck hunt. It's all a blessing, whatever time we have.
Some people don't get this extra time, and we know that. Life is so short. Love those around you. Count your blessings. And thank God for every day you're above ground. :flowered:
