We all need to be praying for our fellow Ifisher, Feisty. I don't personally know Feisty, but we have prayed for him before, and based on some of his comments in recent posts, I feel strongly we need to show him we care, and that prayer works! Below are exceprts from some of his recent posts:

I beleive He got it all going, and left us on our own, to work it out as best we can...my destroyed life at 57 is proof enough to me.Do the best you can, ya'll are on your own.As to the 'Thought's and prayer's'...that is a convenient way many Church folk's use to make themselve's feel better, and to sound more 'spiritual' to another.God does not care.I am on 40 mgrams of Citolapram, it help's, some...as long as I do not think about the future, and what it does not hold for me.

I do thank ya'll for the prayer's...all that has kept me going is my love for my two boy's...I try to love my wife, am gentle with her in speech and action's[ no "love"[sex], as you can understand, but after her action on my job, it's difficult no prospect/hope of ever getting another good job, UI will run out, back to the street's? Thought I was done with that, my life is a slowly flushing toilet, thank you, anyway. Somebody have a good day.

All gone.Life kinda sux right now

Read some of the threads about answered prayer - read this one htp://www.ifish.net/board/showthread.php?t=264700 (http://www.ifish.net/board/showthread.php?t=264700). I also watched my son near death incredibly turnaround and recover - the doctors simply couldn't explain it other than a miracle - It was the incredible power of prayer.

Don't lose your faith, and never forget Phil 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me".

Feisty, don't lose hope. No matter how bad it seems, God loves you, and your boy's love you. I strongly urge you to get some help from a doctor, counselor, or pastor, and never forget to keep your faith and talk to God. We'll be praying for you - you can get through this!

I will be praying for you, as well, Feisty.

The last 5 years have been extremely difficult for me. Lots of changes, good and bad. Unexpected deaths, devastating illnesses, marriage difficulties. The list goes on. The only thing that I could do sometimes was read small portions of Job, which was the only scripture I could relate to, and pray very brief prayers, "God, if you're out there, please help me."

I had always had a strong faith until this point, but it was shaken to its very core. Lots of questions without answers. But I just did the things I knew to be right, even if it it didn't feel good or make sense. I kept trying to get to church, Bible study, pray with my kids. It's been tough, and I saw no light at the end for a long time. I really thought it was going to be just one bad thing after another for the rest of my life. And I sometimes hoped I would just die, so I didn't have to struggle with my faith anymore. But...I am starting to see glimmers of light that give me hope. I still don't understand why so many bad things had to happen to our family. Not sure if I ever will.

I don't think we *deserved* them. We *all* have sinned, and fallen short of the glory of God. Death, illness, and tremendous heartache touch us all, because of what happened in Eden. But, we cannot even blame Adam, for if it had not been his bad choices that started it all, it certainly would have been someone else's, probably mine.

I know myself and others will be praying for your family. Praying you can find a job soon. Praying that your nightmare ends. Keep doing what you know is right. Talk to those who will listen. Take the Citalopram, if it helps. (It did for me.) Hold onto your mustard seed of faith, and pray that it grows.

God Bless You, Feisty. I WILL be praying.

~Melissa

Feisty I will not tell you that I know what you are going through, I do know we all have great struggles in our life at time. It's is during these times we have a tendency to forget that God does care about us. He did after all make the sacrifice of his perfect Son, Jesus Christ. Through that sacrifice we have a intersession to God.
It is hard to see our Gods Sovereign plan for all things and situations, it is actually impossible for us to see His plans. We do get the privilege to see the out come, this we might understand.
I pray that you will lean on our Lord and Savior at this time, maybe even in a way that you never have. Look around at His great creation and marvel in the fact that we get to worship this great God. I am thankful to be able to pray for you with the confidence that I have only through the gift of the Holy spirit that I have dwelling in me.
Our Lord always has plans for those who love Him and call out to Him.

Brother Feisty.

Chin up my dear Friend you can not see the light at the end of the tunnel with your chin on your chest, and the light at the end of the tunnel is none other than the Lord Jesus Christ.
Man I know you are hurting but there is always hope even though it aint no bigger than a speck of dust.
I will be praying for you, for a good job and relief from your pain through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

NIV
Psalm 23

A psalm of David.
1 (http://bible.cc/psalms/23-1.htm)The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
2 (http://bible.cc/psalms/23-2.htm)He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 (http://bible.cc/psalms/23-3.htm)he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name’s sake.
4 (http://bible.cc/psalms/23-4.htm)Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,a (http://niv.scripturetext.com/psalms/23.htm#footnotesa)
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
5 (http://bible.cc/psalms/23-5.htm)You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 (http://bible.cc/psalms/23-6.htm)Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.
This is one of my Favorites and here is one I learned when I was a teen.

From The King James Ver.
9 (http://bible.cc/luke/18-9.htm) And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: 10 (http://bible.cc/luke/18-10.htm) Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. 11 (http://bible.cc/luke/18-11.htm) The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. 12 (http://bible.cc/luke/18-12.htm) I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. 13 (http://bible.cc/luke/18-13.htm) And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. 14 (http://bible.cc/luke/18-14.htm) I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

As Red Skelton would say "May the Lord Bless"

Feisty,
I too have been concerned about you.Ive been seeing by your posts. That your struggles have really gotten more difficult.I had hoped and prayed that life was getting better for you.And I think it was for awhile.Or at least there was hope that it would. But I know now, that your situation is really hard on you and your boys.

I'm going to be putting you all in my prayers.More frequently.Plus you'll be getting those pms from me more often.

If you have been praying to God.Just remember that he always answers our prayers. They may not be what we ask for.Or we may not even know that he has answered them. But put your faith in him.Because he will always answer our prayers. If we pray to him.And sincerely believe in him.

Heres a couple more verses.

The Lord helps the fallen and lifts up those bent beneath their loads. The Lord is righteous in everything He does. He is filled with kindness. The Lord is close to all who call on Him. He fullfills the desires of those who fear Him; He hears their cries for help and rescues them. The Lord protects all those who love Him.
Psalm 145:14,17-20

How can you say the Lord does not see your troubles? Dont you know that the Lord is the Everlasting God,the Creator of all the earth? He never grows faint or weary. No one can measure the depths of His understanding. He gives power to those that are tired and worn out;He offers strength to the weak.Even youths will become exhausted, and young men will give up.But those who wait on the Lord will find new strength. They will fly high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

Isaiah 40:27-31

Be strong Feisty, there are a lot of people that really care about you and your family.Believe in God and ask Him for his help.He will bless you.

If you need somebody to talk to.Even if its just to vent.Send me a pm,and I'll get you my #

God bless you all,
Rick
