Took my dad and fished east for the first time ever yesterday....no luck long-line trolling with rapala, spoons, or wedding rings...but like I said, was my first time trolling
We jigged with some Gibbs minnows a landed 3 kokes (our first kokes ever!, and lost 2 others, and had a several other "bites"). Silver/pink Gibbs minnow seemed to be preferred to silver. The 3 we caught were between 10" - 12" and bright.
Marked fish consistently between 30 and 50 feet everywhere.
Very calm until around 1130..then slight breeze rest of afternoon..we got off water at 2pm.
Water temp at surface...63 in the morning...65 by 1pm.
