Heading up there this weekend, never fished it. Do people usually Jig for Kokes or do they troll? Any extra knowledge would help. PMs are welcome.

Thanks,
Kyle

I was there last week but due to a bad back, I didn't get fishing in that was worth anything. I did ask around and it looked like 99% were trolling. If you have down riggers, the key was 42 feet I was told. I did the long line fishing (no down riggers) but didn't catch anything. I was using one rig with a 2oz and one with a 3oz setup. I know I jigged late in the season a couple years ago, but didn't see anyone doing that this past week, although I talked with one person that said he did and caught a couple. Sure sounds like trolling is the key....

One other thing, the folks in the store are super helpful. They will tell you what to use for trolling if you don't have it in the box. I looked at other peoples setups and mine were the same, except for the banana weight siince I didn't have the downriggers.

Thanks I ended up trolling and I did decent once I found out to put tuna juice in my white corn.
