Welcome Andy E! Hope you'll honor the informal tradition of introducing yourself with a story:applause:
Odell is quite the kokanee factory. Some fish may be starting to blush, but you should find plenty of bright fish, and the lightly blushed fish will eat well too.

Thanks, not sure what kind of story ya want. I've fished O'Dell before just not this late in the year. Got a drift boat that really wants to go fishing. Keeps calling me from the barn. AAANNNDDYYY.:) So Ive got to take it out even though theres work to be done around here. Don't want to upset the drift boat! And we have some really nice jigs made locally here in Salem that might just be the trick, I'm hopeing

Welcome Andy! We need a fishing story, why don't you tell one, even if you have to make it up. Like locking your keys in your truck while at a store going to fish in Canada? Or like sleeping in your chair while plunking in Canada and your "friends" yelling that you have a fish on, and you hurting your back? Or taking a buddy fishing and him breaking one of your rod holders as you launch your drift boat? You know, a "fictitious" story!

Fictitious story? I've pretty well had all of those things happen to me at some point. Locking keys in truck at Wickiup, buddy breaking rod holder off boat, another buddy launching the drift boat down the slide on the Umpqua and forgetting to hold onto the bow rope and watching the boat shoot out across the river, Launching before daylight to get to a good spot on the river salmon fishing and ten minutes up the river you realize you forgot to put the plug in the boat. I could go on, but I don't feel like writing a book here.

O.K. I did the plug thing, only I got back to the dock after parking the truck and finding the boat almost gone in the water. By my self. And oh yah. my rope broke on my drift boat, I didn't forget to hold it. Then theres the time I let my 13 yr old try to pull the boat out of the water with the truck on a steep boat ramp. The truck was so submerged in water buy the time I jumped in, it took 4 wheel drive to get it out. After getting back to camp and opening the door and letting more water out, my wife saying "What the hell were you thinking!"
Hows that
OeDell family outing 9/16 to 9/20. Just checking if anyone has had any sucess lately?
