Hi, I'm a little new to this section of ifish, but can really use some prayers. My mom has congestive heart disease and we had a rough night last night. I had to take her to the hospital, she has fluid in her lungs, basically retaining fluid all over, has an irregular heart beat. Her doctors are not the most encouraging, after spending the night at the hospital with her, they released her earlier this morning. I come from a large family, but at the moment they are scattered around and I am desperately trying to get us all together in the event the unthinkable happens. It's a nerve wracking time to say the least. I went through losing my dad several years ago and I don't think I can do this alone with my mom. Anyway, while she is sleeping, I am sending out any and all email prayers to those I can think of for her. Any prayers, well wishes, good thoughts sent her way will be so appreciated.
Thank you all for listening.

I'll pray for both you and your mom! You are never alone - the good Lord is always with you, just be sure you take the time to talk to him....:pray::pray:

Thank you so much for your reply. I will take your advice, certain situations it is incredibly hard to take a leap of faith and have total trust that things will be ok, but I am more than willing to make the effort.
Thank you again!!!!

 and very best wishes. I know, first hand, what you are facing. I went through this with my Dad and then lost him to CHF a little over a year ago. Don
:pray::pray::pray: CHF can be puzzling. It is livable.
I've been fighting it for 15 years.:)

Thank you for this reply. I am sitting by the phone and computer staying in touch with family while she is resting. There's just no words to tell you what it means to know there are caring people out there who understand what it is like to be in this situation. It really brings home how very short and precious life really is. I am very sorry for the loss of your dad.

Quick update, mom is back in the hospital, actually a larger hospital in another town. I did get in touch with some family, they all live close together but oddly enough this week they were away, but I was here for her, fortunately. I am spending another night in the hospital with her. She is completely out from the meds given to her, but I think she heard and understood when I told her I have people all over praying for her. Thank goodness for laptops and cell phones. The doctors are not optimistic, but I hold strong to the faith that a higher power is at work here, it is what is keeping me going through this. Please continue praying for her, she is one of the sweetest people you'd ever hope to meet and I am just not ready to lose her. Rough year and can't deal with this, so maybe add a prayer for me. Thanks to all of you who read this and send out prayers, well wishes and good thoughts, it means the world.
