If Big Cliff is the reservoir below Detroit the water level is waaaay down. I wonder if they are doing work on the dam.

They are working on the dam and water is really low. I don't think you will be able to launch, but I'm not sure about that.
If you are able to launch at the ramp there, I've had sucess dragging a single worm or wet fly and alittle weight behind the boat while slowly rowing around. Nothing too fancy. There's an obvious shelf that drops off into deeper water. Fish on the deep side and you'll be fine. Lots of planters in there.
In my opinion Big Cliff is very tough to fish. I personally have never caught a ton of fish, but I have caught a fair number in the 15"-23" range. They've all been on either a frog flatfish or a flasher and worm set up. And they've ALL came from the highway side of the res.
There are a few people who are good at fishing it, but are very tight lipped about it.
We went by there yesterday evening and I don't know that I've ever seen it THAT :bigshock:low!

big cliff dam had twp turbines go down a couple of weeks ago. I think they have to let the water out. And Detroit is full of water. My guess is they have not fixed the problem yet.
