View Full Version : Suttle Report Aug 14-16
Like other reports, Suttle is a bust for kokanee. I have never marked so many fish in that lake, but only caught three with two rods and they were all about 5 inches.
Did pick up one brown, 19 inches and 3.5 pounds which was fun. Caught it while rigged for koke, after spending the morning fishing for browns with not success. Go figure.
The lake seems to be overflowing this year with fish. Totally wierd.

im headed over there sep. 7th-9th hopefully we have better luck.
my dad,grandpa, and uncle were over there in the third week of july for 4 days and managed to bring back fifteen 8-12 inch kokes, and caught alot of of 5-6 inchers. all taken while jigging.
pretty slow compared to recent years, and fish size is smaller too. but we'll see when i get there and shall report back with our catch.

That was some type of scent we picked up in town. They said it worked best iced....I did catch my brother sampling it :).
It did not help the bite at all...:excited:

I was up at suttle lake Aug 26-30 fished morning afternoon & night we only caught 6 or 7 all small except one was decent. We trolled and jigged.Verry dead also never seen or heard of anyone eles catching any.
