2003 Merc 4st not pssing water?

So 2500 miles and the darn motor didn't pss water when I launched in Valdez?
Any basic things I can check.
specs:
2003 4 stroke Merc EFI

worked 5 days ago before the road trip. Anything bounce loose??

Mine stops peeing about every time I use it. The motor does not get hot, and a quick shot of water up the hole from the washdown pump always gets it going again, and the stream is strong. Over a couple hours, it slows down and eventually stops. Water is still flowing through the engine, but some unkown crap clogs it up over time.

2500 miles is plenty of time for some crap to have lodged/camped in there. Pull the hose and clean it out.

Just use a piece of wire, or an air nozzle to clean the tube and you should peeing as normal.

All is good again, found half the Alcan dust inside the water exit port. Cleaned it out and works like new.. Today we head out for the Silvers
